“Honeywell says we need a redlink module for the internet interface. Instructions do not mention it and all the reviews says easy to install and program so I need one?”

Honeywell RTH9585WF wirelessly connected to my home Wi-Fi network just like a tablet or laptop. No additional modules were required.

Please try again later.Honeywell has a different model (or models) of thermostats that use Red Link to connect to a Red Link hub which is connected to your network via a cable. That is a different family of thermostats thank this one. I own both at different locations. This model connects directly to your own WiFi.
