You will need to have a "C" wire in order to use this. If you do not have one, there are additional instructions on how to wire it and it includes the wire you can use to jump it in your thermostat. If you have minor DIY skills, you should have no problem with the installation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to have a "C" power wire. You essentially mark each wire connected to your old thermostat with little labels provided then push them into the terminals on the Honeywell themostat. It is a good idea to take a picture with your smart phone or camera. Some systems require a jumper this is described in the manual. If you get stuck you send pics of your current wiring to Honeywell support and then call them, they will walk you through a solution.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Sitruc! I do apologize, but it would be difficult to provide wiring instructions without knowing a little more information about your HVAC equipment. However, I can advise that this thermostat does require a common (C) wire dedicated to power the thermostat. With most thermostats, the wiring should just transfer to the new thermostat. For example, lettered terminals R, W, Y, G are the four wires needed for a one heat/one cool conventional forced air system. These terminals would be the same on the new thermostat as well. Then there would be the additional Common (C) wire would make the total number of wires connected five. For additional assistance with installing your new thermostat, please feel free to contact Honeywell Technical Support at (855) 733-5465. Thank you.
