Hello! I will be happy to assist you with the wiring of your Honeywell Smart Color Thermostat with Wi-Fi Connectivity. If you have a heat only system, the two wires coming from your heating system should be connected to the R and W terminals on the thermostat. The two additional wires coming from the separate transformer should be connected to the RC and C terminals on the thermostat. For further assistance with wiring your new thermostat, please feel free to contact Honeywell Technical Support at (800) 468-1502. Thank you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need 3 minimum. R for power, C for common, and W for the heater.... if you have AC, there are up to 5 or 6.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe your two wires will be R and W so you would connect those to the R and W terminals on the new baseplate. The wires from the power supply go to C and RC and you need to remove the jumper that connects R and RC. There are good videos on the Honeywell site explaining all of this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would call Honeywell support. It sounds as if your setup will not work with this unit, but would need more information to make sure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a 4-5 wire system. I recommend having this installed by a licensed installer. Should cost no more than $60 to wire up your existing heater to upgrade to this unit.
