How often do the filters have to be replaced? null

Depends which filter you're talking about, there is the pre filter that takes about 4-7 months till its no good, and the hepa filter which takes 2-3 years to change. They not to expensive as well, the price is good.

I believe the typical answer is 3 to 6 months depending upon usage. However, I have a feeling they could go much longer depending on the environment. If you are in a high dust and pollen household you are going to want to replace them 3 to 6 months max. Same thing with lots of smoke, pet dander, tons of dust with hardwood floors, etc.. However, with a house or apartment that is carpeted with no spoke and nominal dust and you keep the place clean then filters might last as long as a year depending upon how often you use them each day.

I bought my air purifier on May 5th, 2018, I use it everyday while I am home, keep it on all night, and have not yet had to change the filter. Hope this helps.

The prefilter needs replaced every 6 or so months.

This is essentially the model 250, not the 300. Get the 300 for the same price and with a greater cleaning capacity.

Of course, that would depend on how dirty the air is.
