How long does the plastic smell last while using it. null

I'm on day 2 of using this and the smell remains. Other places have said to give it a few days. I took the last one back because of the smell - it can't be good to breathe whatever that is. 1 more day and then this thing is going back to Target and no more Honeywells for me. Very disappointed. Seems like bad engineering.

I bought this unit there is definitely a plastic burning smell, it seems to be coming from the heating element. Despite cleaning it the smell remains.

We didn't smell it after an hour or so.

There shouldn't be a plastic smell- make sure you have removed all of the wrapping..

I did not detect a plastic smell. I did add a few drops of eucalyptus oil to the warmer and that's probably why I did not get any plastic odors.
