“Can I add salt to this? If yes, where exactly? My doctor specifically wanted me to be able to add salt.”

• Manual says do not add anything into the water or tank, I would think you could possibly mix salt with water into the essential oil part of the humidifier (on top of the vent) may help. Then again, salt stuck on anything is bad, as it will start corroding whatever salt sticks on.
