Thank you for your inquiry. This unit does not generate white dust, as the minerals remain in the heating chamber. If you are experiencing water around the unit, increase air flow around the unit or lower the setting, as the air is being over humidified around the unit. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact our consumer relations team by emailing us at [email protected]. Thank you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You’ll have to find out for yourself to see if it does as everyone’s use of the humidifier is different. Typically if there’s moisture buildup, It means the setting is on too high and you’ll need to lower the setting. Manual says if this happens open windows and doors .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It didn't leave moisture on my floor, but I did notice an accumulation of white mineral dust over time. I used it almost daily for a 2-month period (late winter, early spring this year), northern Oregon area... not sure how hard the water is. I used tap water when I should have used distilled water to prevent mineral dust. Before each refill, I wiped down all the accessible parts if anything accumulated. This is an ultrasonic unit, so it has no filter like an evaporative humidifier does.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not seen either. It is on a dresser and I have not seen either.
