• That is a good question. While we do not advise letting toddlers play around with the unit, the grills are close enough together and far enough from the fan itself to prevent a toddler's fingers from getting hit by the fan. • The grill is very small and a toddler's fingers should not be able to reach the fan base since it is so much farther back

• Hi! Yes it is! You can’t put your fingers in because the space is way too small! Even for a toddler, I believe the slots are not big enough! I hope this helps.
