QuestionOnce the battery is fully charged, do you have to unplug it so it doesn't 'overcharge', or can it just be kept plugged in when not in use?

QuestionWhen we plugged our vaccum into the charger the light flashes red. Is this normal?

QuestionMy battery is locked in place but the unit is still flashing red and green when plugged in and will not charge/turn on. Does this sound like a battery defect? Vacuum is less than two weeks old and had very little use ... highly disappointing!

- Answer I think the battery is not in place properly. Remove battery, and FIRMLY put it into place, then plug in the charger. Hope this helps.

- Answer This maybe sound stupid, but did you make sure that the brush is turned on? The button on the top turns the brush on/off. The brush is not on by default.

QuestionMy stick vac is only 2 months old. I charge it for over 24 hrs, the light turns green. But now it goes immediately from a green light to flashing red, to dead in one minute. I have removed the battery/replaced it to see if that helps. Nothing.

- Answer Try it with one of the accessories. My vacuum is doing the same thing but only because the brush won’t spin. If I turn the brush off or if I use the upholstery brush or edger it works fine. Just something else to try

- Answer Press the Handheld release button. Pull to separate the Handheld from the Reach Wand. Twist the filter cover counterclockwise to unlock. Pull the tab on the filter to remove. Pull to remove the filter cover. In the Handheld, pinch to remove second foam filter. Tap both filters over a trash bin to remove debris. If you need to clean the separator, push from inside the dirt container and pull 5 out the separator to remove. If you need further help, please contact us at Hovoer.com or call 1.800.944.9200. - Answer Better than expected, but I wouldn’t get this as your only vacuum. I got one for the upstairs bedrooms & hallway where there’s hardwood floors & area rugs. The suction is good but it won’t last long if you use it to vacuum an entire house with wall to wall carpet.

- Answer So what that tells me personally is that the rollers on the motor are being pushed to their limit so your battery isn't taking a full charge and only allowing the motor to use a very small portion. Of it's nominal capacity which when you pull it backwards the rollers are fighting the force of the carpet moving the opposite direction it's like when you put it in reverse on pavement very fast and then shift into 1st gear and drop that clutch like it's going outa style and light that rubber up and instead of seeing smoke your honda accent just takes a dump right in your lap uh oh tears all the teeth off the flywheel the clutch pucks disintegrate and your "girl" Monica! is now walking over to Dominic's black 69 charger. Anyways! Motors overloaded when you pull it backwards sends a signal to shut down the party to the control unit on the board and that transistor says bedtime night night (turns off)

- Answer I can not speak for the Dyson V6 but I purchased the Hoover 22v cordless. My grandmother always purchased Hoovers and told me as a young person that Hoover always made a good machine. She had one for 32 years and had me replace the belt once. I purchased the cordless hand held questioning if it was going to be as good as the Dyson. Let me tell you for $145.oo it is twice its worth in gold. If you use the extension for ceiling and window cleaning don't be disappointed if the charge only lasts 30-35 minutes maybe less if you have it on high. I use this on my hardwood floors/ the utility washroom and even clean the cars out with it. It just sucks the dirt right up. Used it yesterday on my brick fireplace where I had drywall replaced in my dinning room. Dust is Dust to it and it picks it right up. Bye Bye Dyson....many other items out there half the cost and does the job.
