You must go over it again with the Rinse mode. Didn't bother me.. I just zoned out in the same way as cutting my mom's land with the riding mower.. plus I was fascinated with the amount of muck coming out of my carpet. The Rinse pass made even more of a difference, so it's certainly worth the time. Excellent suction too, so the carpet isn't left soaking wet afterward.

Please try again later.You have to put clean water to rinse your carpet although I did not do my whole carpet I did it in the most high traffic areas where you use more cleaner. I suppose you could use this with other carpet cleaners but the ease of filling and emptying this machine is wonderful

I just cleaned a room and followed with a rinse per their recommendation.. The rinse water was fairly dark so I am convinced the additional work was worth the effort.
