“Does this tear up the carpet and Plog up the spinning brushes like the one I have now?”

• It did not damage in any visible way a shag rug or wall to wall carpet when I used it. Only dirt seemed to accumulate in the brush bristles, not carpet fibers.

• This cleaner will not tear up the carpet if the carpet is in good condition and of decent quality.

• So far, we've only used it once, but there were no traces of carpet being pulled up.
