QuestionI would like to use this Hoover cleaner to take care of small spots. Do I need to completely fill the detergent/cleaner chamber each time or can I just fill as much as I need?

- Answer The best method for spot cleaning is to hand treat the spots with a spray cleaner and then use the rinse function on the power scrubber to clean the spots. This is quicker than adding the cleaner solution to the tank for each use.

QuestionThe owner's manual indicates emptying the clean water tank for storage, but doesn't specify whether or not the solution tank must be emptied for storage. I don't want to waste solution, so hope it can stay in the machine.

- Answer Make sure the dial is all the way on rinse,and there is enough clean water,you could try empty the cleaner tank then see what happens on rinse. Never had a problem with mine works better than commercial units, also make sure to clean unit good after using that includes by the bottom rollers. Good luck

QuestionMachine is 1 yr old & used about 10 times and now when I went to use it the water all pours out the bottom. I have tried numerous times to make sure the tank is on properly and it's clicked in. Is there a seal or something that could be bad?

- Answer Yes there is a seal,rubber gasket that goes around the rim of the Dirty water tank but that should not cause a leak that rubber gasket if not on properly will cause no suction for the dirty water to pick up.

QuestionHow can Hoover sell this junk? In less than three months and just three uses, the brushes stopped turning. Customer No-Service told me to take it to svc. ctr. an hour away from my hometown (which is the state capital). That was all that could be done.
