It sucks up in wash mode and dries going back fine but my dry only mode does not work or light up?

First check for any jams such as hair that may have gotten tangled on the brush roll, then recline your SmartWash with the handle release and power the unit on and off two times. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if The bottom portion has been taken off and cleaned well, it should have good suction (and you can see water and soap flowing through unit if well cleaned). May be defective.
