“I notice the video and most ads only show it being used on very low pile carpet. I have a room size long pile shag rug I was looking to get this to clean. Will it work with deep pile and shag rugs?”

• Hey Zoe, Thank you for your question! The Hoover - SmartWash + Upright Deep Cleaner should work for your setup. SmartWash has FlexForce™ PowerBrushes that gently remove deep dirt, debris and pet messes from carpets and is good for short pile carpets, while it still gets deep into long pile carpets. However, long pile shag carpet can get matted down and twisted by the brushes of any carpet cleaner, so we don't recommend it for shag on a general basis. If this happens you may need an alternate method to clean your carpet such as a steam cleaner without revolving brushes. Thanks, Joseph - The Hoover Team
