“We have 3 cats and a dog, basic carpet. Does this vacuum have a simple canister to empty? How will it hold up over time? I do not want to spend $250 only to have it quit working. Does it have a warranty?”

The Canister is very easy to remove, empty and put back in place. I have cats as well. It picks up well. The downside is that I DO NOT like the long cord. It is way to long and does not re- track. Easy to run over the cord as you vacuum your floors. Another issue I have is that it does not swivel for easier pick up around things. The base is larger as well. I liked the smaller base better myself. I loved my prior Pet Hoover Vacuum much better. But it is no longer made. I always buy the extended Warranty. Through experience I know it is a very wise choice. Return is simple and easy with the extended Warranty. It is worth it to invest a “ little extra” rather than run into any problems and have to pay much more for a new Vacuum. Hope this info. helps.

I love the canister and it is made pretty durable and easy to empty and take on and off. It has several filters as well and does not put all the small dust particles in the air most other bagless models do. We have only had it approx 3 months but I am glad we got this one and I would totally buy another.
