Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All vacumes lose suction as the filters/bags fill up. To keep up the suction you need to replace the filters periodically. Read the manual for suggested replacement periods, but normally at least once a year. Most units have more than one level of filter, so make sure all are replaced as scheduled. Otherwise, motors do lose some power with use and the fan blades can become chipped and dirty with use which reduces suction, however these factors are fairly minor compared to dirty filters (even if you clean the filters, you can't get out all the dirt.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine hasn't.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. After several years my old hoover did and just recently replaced my old Vacuum. This new vacuum works great and hasn't given me any trouble.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It maintains suction. When the canister gets full you need to empty it, clean the top filter and front Hepa filter to ensure maximum suction
