A:Answer Hey there, and thanks for reaching out to us! We know how important keeping your gas range clean is and are happy to advise. The surface grates and burner parts are both removable for cleaning. The burner caps and heads can be washed in hot, soapy water; please let them dry completely before replacing them. The grates can also be removed and washed in hot, soapy water, rinsed and dried. If your grates don’t have rubber bumpers on their bottom surface, cleaning them in the oven during the self-clean cycle is also an option. They should not be cleaned in the oven if they have rubber bumpers, as this would cause damage. There are further details regarding cleaning the cooktop starting on page 16 of your use and care manual. We hope this information helps, and are happy to assist with any other questions or concerns. Wishing you the best! -Sarah@Hotpoint
