- Answer Thank you for the question. There is a way to convert a Chromebook to the Windows OS, (if you are DIY friendly) however, you'll need more storage - an external drive or SD card. - Answer Thank you for the question. The 14-db0033dx Chromebook has a battery life of up to 9 hours and 15 minutes (mixed usage). Screen brightness, using Wifi, backlit keyboards, having lots of open tabs, and certain software can decrease battery life. Changing settings when using battery power can help.
