The laptop charger/power cord is Universal Voltage and will work on voltage from 100v up to 240v.

Yes. Look at specs on power adapter. HP is bad for putting confusing information on the label. Trying to use the label for too many purposes. I bought the laptop in the US and now traveling to other counties that use 220vac. Actually now I am operating from 220vac single phase. Works without problems.
