You're asking if a 1 TB HDD holds the same as a 128 GB? No, 1 TB holds about 800 GB more
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1TB is equal to 1000GB. They are different storage amounts.

What this probably means is that the RAM is not easily accessed, and that it may void the warranty if someone other than a certified HP technician opens the PC to replace any part. This is the typical situation on computers meant for the consumer, as opposed to those targeted to the Enterprise user (business). In some consumer-targeted laptops, you aren't even supposed to switch out the battery! However, this doesn't mean the same thing as to say it is (or is not) possible to do. I suggest that you 1) go to the HP website and see if there is a description of how to open up the laptop; 2) Google this, or search YouTube for any additional information or videos on how to proceed. I have both a consumer model Asus (X551MAV) and an enterprise HP (ZBook G2 14). I found a number of good videos on YouTube on how to open and upgrade parts in the Asus, and the HP was a snap to do the same: one security screw on the bottom releases a latch, and the entire bottom comes off easily, allowing the user to get to the HDD (|SSD or otherwise, or two drives at once), RAM, battery, and WWAN and WLAN modules). With (substantially more) effort, you can also change the keyboard, display screen, RTC battery, base, fan, NFC module, card reader, touchpad, USB and VGA connector boards, heat sink, power button and fingerprint reader boards, system board, and speaker assembly. All of this is described in the manual, something you would be hard pressed to find on any consumer laptop.
