“I purchased this laptop and it has Chrome OS Flex running system and not Windows 11 which is what I purchased. What am I missing here? Is Windows 11 now Chromes OS Flex? This runs as a Chromebook which is not at all what I was looking for.”

• Hello, and thank you for the question! This HP Laptop utilizes Windows 11 Home in S Mode, which is a version of Windows 11 designed for security and performance. It only allows apps from the Microsoft Store and requires Microsoft Edge for safe browsing, keeping the device secure. While users can turn off S mode at any time, it can't be turned back on. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, you'll need to switch out of S mode.
