Get an actual PC not chrome book will probably need to purchase a separate cd/dvd reader. As most of that technology has been phased out in favor of cloud based or more convenient forms of removable media.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Buy an inexpensive Chromebook that has the biggest screen you can afford if you want a good sized screen to watch your movies on (Best Buy sells an ASUS Chromebook with a 17 inch screen, open box excellent with free shipping for $231). At the SAME time buy an external DVD/CD player from Best Buy for about $20 to $30 (LG is good brand). Immediately try both to make sure they work and work together, because you can return one or the other or both to Best Buy within 14 days if there is a problem. Good Luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best Buy changed the price on the Asus 17 inch screen Chromebook I recommended, making it less attractive on price. Another good choice would be the HP 15.6 inch screen Chromebook (Best Buy SKU 6535992) open box excellent with free shipping for $149. Good size screen, FAST processor, plenty of RAM (memory), full HD (excellent screen quality for watching movies). HP (Hewlett Packard) is a good brand and makes good quality Chromebooks that should last. External LG CD/DVD player should work with it.
