Hello and thank you for asking. The HP 15-dy5073dx runs Windows 11 in S Mode, which does not allow any form of QuickBooks, or any programs/apps not in the Microsoft Windows Store, to be installed. Please contact HP Support for help in switching the laptop out of S Mode.

To increase security, Windows 11 in S Mode allows only apps from the Microsoft Store and requires Microsoft Edge for safe browsing. If you want to install an app unavailable in the Microsoft Store, you can switch out of S mode; however, this action will be permanent, and you won't be able to turn it back on. For the steps on how to switch out of S mode, visit the following link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-10-and-windows-11-in-s-mode-faq-851057d6-1ee9-b9e5-c30b-93baebeebc85 To ensure the laptop meets the system requirements of a specific program, check for the software's system requirements on the Developer's website and compare them with the laptop's specifications.
