• Windows 11 Home in S Mode is more secure as it prevents you from downloading third party applications and limits access from unfamiliar sources. It is also streamlined in requires less power to run. If the restrictions limit you from downloading an application you need, you can turn off S Mode to use Windows 11 Home. You can reactivate S Mode if you turn it off.

• Both replies only tell part of the story. A full answer can be found elsewhere in the Questions section; search the secion for "S Mode." Also, I never heard of S Mode running faster than regular Windows. Fortnite, Doom, Photoshop, etc. all need the resources they need.
