How do you turn the power on and off? null

The power button is on the keyboard near the top middle next to the delete button.

The default settings on a laptop are to "Sleep" when the top is closed and "Awake" when opened. You can change this using the Power Options, accessible by right clicking the battery indicator on the far right side of the Taskbar and selecting them, then clicking on the appropriate options on the far left, top of the new window. There are also additional options available by clicking "Change plan settings." What happens when pressing the power button can be altered with both of these settings.
