Personally, I have never been thrilled by the sound on a laptop, but it is a matter of taste, experience, and even age. If you don't want to turn frequently to headphones, I suggest trying to get first-hand experience of the sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Great question as MOST laptops have abysmal sound quality! I bought this laptop during recent Best Buy sales events as the price was too amazing for the features and I needed something with a large screen and Windows 11. I was very impressed with the sound quality of these speakers and highlighted the audio quality for another friend who also bought the same laptop model. I even did a side-by-side test with a recent Dell Inspiron laptop that sounded weak and tinny. This HP sound is loud and clear for music with TOP FACING speakers. MOST audio sources are great at 70% volume setting. There is an application included in the start menu called "HP Audio Center" to tune the speakers to your playback requirements too! Highly recommended for sound abilities.
