Yes, Avid will run just fine. You might consider upgrading the RAM down the line from 16GB to 32GB to process video editing at top speed, but it meets the system requirements overall.

Please try again later.The gentlemen already answered yes it will run it, however my suggestion would be to purchase something else for video editing strictly on this laptop. The screen resolution on this is of lower resolution which will generally goes hand in hand with low color reproduction as well. This IS a great option if you are going to plug it into a different monitor for better color accuracy. You can even increase the performance with a Solid State Hard drive down the road to make the computer even quicker.
