Yes, but if you want to transfer the OS and data to the new SSD, you'll need a USB 3 to M.2 NVME adapter for the transfer. You might want to have the Geek Squad do it for you. The alternative is to backup your data, install the new SSD and then install the OS, your software, and data on it. There are a number of software drivers needed that make this route harder for a laptop than for a desktop.
