This cartridge contains toner, not ink. Toner does not dry out but you may want to remove cartridge, shake gently, and reinsert if you don't print for a couple of months.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the ink is already dry in these type of toners so you do not have this issue. This very reason is the reason I switched over to this type of toner.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is exactly WHY we switched from an Ink Jet printer to a Laser printer. We were told by the Best Buy salesman when we purchased the laser one that the ink does not dry out, even with little or spread-out usage. We ruined two different ink jet printers by going on extended vacations and coming home to find a print head essentially glued shut, rendering the printer useless. And using every cleaning feature available in the printer's SETTINGS did not help. Had to just throw them away. Hoping the laser printer works better. Have only had it a couple of months, but so far quite satisfied. Only just depleted the toner cartridges that came with the printer. Purchased four new cartridges - black, red, blue, & yellow -- to the tune of $300. That bites, but will be less expensive in the long run if we can quit having to buy new printers all the time!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because inkjets use a liquid based ink cartridge, there is a chance for the cartridges getting clogged/drying out when unused for too long. We recommend printing at least once a week if you're able, or cleaning the cartridge prtinheads with a tiny bit of alcohol.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.often, when you clean the head with alcohol (91%), it will work again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have never experienced dried out cartridges.
