QuestionDoes this monitor have an IPS panel?On HP.com no where is it listed as having an IPS panel. I chatted with HP.com chat and they did said that it does not have an IPS panel. Also no where on the box for the monitor does it say that it has an IPS panel so I was just wondering if Best Buy just has this labeled incorrectly? Thanks

- Answer HP Corporate also confirmed with me that this does not have an IPS panel despite the box that it came in saying IPS and the label on the monitor saying "IPS". I've escalated this higher with HP to get an answer on this otherwise its getting returned..not to mention seems a bit misleading. Best Buy: Please feel free to comment.

QuestionIs this a really IPS, as the specs are not showing that, even on the other websites?I checked on various different sites and it appears that this screen is not IPS. Also, stopped by in my local BestBuy and didnt see it on the box either.

- Answer No it is not IPS, nowhere on the box does it say it is, and when I look at it from the side, the image diminishes unlike other monitors that are IPS.

- Answer I connected to HDMI and was satisfied, also tried DVI and good results. Not so good with VGA. Of course this depends on the quality and RAM of your video card it's attached to or laptop.

- Answer No. This monitor does not have audio pass through or speakers. The hdmi/dvi connections are only for video.
