You're going to need a cable that outputs HDMI or Displayport. If your laptop has a regular HDMI port then you just need an HDMI cable. If your laptop outputs video over USB-C you'll need a cable that goes from USB-C to HDMI, or otherwise get an adapter. Similar for using Displaylink from a regular USB port.

The monitor has female ports to connect to right on the back that face down towards the desk. You’ll also be able to connect your audio out to the monitor directly with a 3.5mm audio cable (male to male; not included).
