I'm wondering the same question for my hp64 cartridge. It is possible to refill the cartridges (look it up- there's also videos on YouTube). I've done it. I was going to choose this ink because it's a pigment-based ink if I understand correctly, and a lot of the and non OEM companies are selling dye based ink. The OEM HP Black ink is pigment-based and I believe the tri color is dye-based. I am going to refill my cartridge with the HP OEM black ink anyways despite the other answers. I think it'll work.

HP 65 ink cartridges are not refillable, so you will just need to purchase a new ink cartridge of HP 65 when you need to replace the current one.
