• The hp 60 xl will print 600 pages which is a better value than a twin pack of the hp 60. The reg size hp 60 only print 200 per cartride so even a twin package can not compare to the hp 60xl

• Twice as many pages. Not the 600 advertised by HP. You can figure on 250 average pages. With the 60 cartridges, I get 120 and 250 for the 60XL. Same type of printing with both cartridges. I only print daily crossword puzzles which have some heavy black ink for the "boxed out" areas. I use the "black ink only" option in "Features" tab on "Printing Preferences". Hope this helps.
