HP's website shows the following capacity in printed pages (using HP's measurement methods): HP 61 Black 190 pages HP 61XL Black 480 pages HP 61 Tri-Color 165 pages HP 61XL Tri-Color 330 pages

The HP 61 Tri-color Ink Cartridge also contains 3 ml of ink and will print approximately 165 pages. Average page yields are tested on 8.5" x 11" paper with 5% page coverage (a normal document).
