DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 61 AND 61XL INK? null

The 61XL black ink cartridge looks a bit larger than the 61 and it prints more than double the number of pages, which is a savings over buying "2" 61's-especially when they are on sale. There are only certain HP printers than can use them and they are listed in the 61XL description on the Best Buy website. Hope this helps.

XL inkjets contain more ink. Cartridge is same size. Generally a better deal.

If I am not mistaken, XL means more ink, so you can print more copies.

61 yields about 190 pages 61xl yields about 480 pages

XL give you over 2x the amount print

The xL stands for extra large, the cartridge holds more Ink. I prefer the xL, it seems to last must longer
