“I am tired of constantly buying ink cartridges for my standard printer. I print only once in a while and the ink dries out quickly. With a laser printer, I see you also need color and black cartridges. How long do they last and do they dry out quickly?”

Mine last at 4 months, I never have them dry out, but I do print a lot.

The toner is a powder and therefore does not dry out, since it's already dry, and will print well indefinitely. With a MONOCHROME laser printer you only need to buy black toner, and it does not print in color.
