• The HP 63xl ink cartridges are considered high yield cartridges. The page yield of the XL cartridges is twice the page yield of the regular 63 ink cartridges. And you will save money in the long run by buying the XL ink cartridges.

• The 63XL has double the ink as the 63. Roughly 600 vs. 300 printed pages.

• The 63XL contains more ink (bigger cartridge) but most printers accept both the regular size and the XL size.

• So let me get this straight. The regular 63 costs LESS than half the 63 XL, but contains HALF the ink. How am I saving money again?

• one has larger quanity of ink but I buy the package with both black & color so black quanity is not as large as the pkg with only black.
