Will this work on a HP ENVY 4520? null

Yes, the ENVY 4520 Series uses the 63 size cartridges, although it seems to be possible to use the 65 size as well if needed as this was the size HP sent me for InstantInk. The printer complained that the 65 was not the correct cartridge type, but printed just fine anyway. Use size 63 if possible for the ENVY 4520, but know that 65 should also work if 63 is out of stock and you absolutely need ink today.

Yes! I've owned an HP Envy 4520 printer for about a year and a half, and the HP #63 black printer cartridge works perfectly with the Envy 4520. Always have a few extra cartridges on hand, though, as I get about 250 printed sheets from each average-size black cartridge, and you might run through your cartridges fairly quickly. And prices vary a lot from store to store: Best Buy might charge far less than, say, Office Depot--so shop around.
