I had not considered that before but it makes sence that one color inside the cartridge will run out first so yea, i guess it is. I switched from a HP that used four separate color cartridges but now i realize that was probably the beneit of that printer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for the question. Have you tried adjusting the print quality, or cleaning the printheads? Sometimes that helps. You might want to switch to a printer that uses four separate cartridges, then a single empty cartridge/color can be replaced. You'd be a good candidate for HP Instant Ink, because no matter what colors you use, you receive new cartridges before you run out of ink. Instant Ink saves about 50% of ink costs.
