The XL means extended life. The XL will last about twice as long as the plain 65.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you get twice the number of prints but they charge about three times more for it then the non xl is the better value?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is in reference to the BLACK cartridge only FYI HP is a very scammy company and these carts have TINY ink volumes The 65 is the standard cartridge with 2.5ML of ink The 65XL is the high capacity model with 7.5ML of ink The current prices are $17.99 for the 65 and $37.99 65xl Even though there is 3x the ink in the XL the printer will deliberately use print and cleaning strategies to limit that to 2-2.5x the prints of the standard 65. learning to refill with these is nearly a necessity. i modded my normal 65 by cutting the internal walls to limit ink capacity and adding a larger sponge. this tricks the printer into using the non xl print strategy while giving me 25ml of ink volume.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 65 inks have up to 2x as many pages worth of ink.
