Will micr ink 923 work on a HP printer 2540 null

Thank you for your question about this HP ink! MiCR inks and toners will require that the printer also be modified to handle MICR. The 923 series inks will not work with the HP DeskJet 2540 as it is an entirely different cartridge design. The DeskJet 2540 uses 61 and 61XL inks.
