I doubt it. I had the same issue with HP950 and HP952 ink. Read the fine print on the side of the cartridge box carefully. I just wrote a review about this. The manufacturers deliberately make ink cartridges incompatible from printer to printer, no matter how similar the printers are. When printers die, it's more expensive to get them fixed than to buy a new one. The next generation of the same printer will likely have exactly the same cartridge but the "docking" configuration is changed so that you cannot use your left over ink cartridges in the new printer. That's why I have no loyalty to any printer manufacturer. I just buy the cheapest printer (because they are all throwaways anyway, and never sign up for an automatic refill program. I stock up on ink (slightly) only if there is a big sale. Otherwise i use the "just-in-time-purchase" method.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to this : ftp://ftp.ramimaging.ca/Hewlett%20Packard/HP%20Complete%20Supplies%20Matrix%20Info.pdf , they are compatible in some similar printers But from first hand experience, I know that the 950 cartridges do not work in a HP8720 (even if the chart above says they do) - it's possible the reverse (your case) works. The 950 and 952 look identical but there must be a notch or something different on the cartridge and the 950 will not "click" into the 8720.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. They keep changing it so you have to buy more ink. I had the same printer before as well. I had to get rid of my old ink.
