• A:Answer Hello, I see that you are interested in finding out where the cd\dvd drive is located on this laptop. The CD/DVD drive on the Beats Special Edition laptop will be located on the right side of this laptop. The drive supports DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, CD-R, CD-RW. Hopefully that helps you out, and thanks again for choosing HP.

Q: QuestionI just purchased this computer but looked at other site reviews while waiting it's arrival. Some comments say that it runs really hot. Any comments?

• A:Answer This computer run very quickly which sometimes causes it to overheat but many laptop companies recommend getting a cooler for Laptops anyways, even those with built in fans, to help prevent overheating of any sort. Coolers arn't terribly expensive and they definitely extend the life of your laptop by preventing the system from working too hard to both run and cool the laptop. Mine only overheats when I have multiple programs open. You can prevent this by getting rid of any unnecessary background programs running through the task manager.

Q: QuestionAre there any programs such as microsoft word on there? And if so, what year?

• A:Answer When I bought mine, it included Webroot for a year, a one year warrant, and Microsoft Office 365, along with Dragon Notes. I never used Dragon Notes although I thought I'd use it all the time because usually I don't like typing all that much. The Microsoft Office was already installed on it but I had to use an ID number to register to be able to use it. It was the most recent version of Microsoft Word. And it works wonderfully.
