• All printers come with setup cartridges to get you going. However, they are not usually full standard cartridges. Typically you will get 60-80% of a standard cartridge with an HP starter cartridge.

• The printer comes with a color and a black cartridge. I just set mine up so I don't know if they are full size cartridges or just samples. Regardless, the cartridges are pretty cheap compared to other brands/models so won't be a hardship to replace when they run out.

• Yes it comes with a colored cartridge and a black. When it runs out you need to purchase more
