I'm sorry, but I told you to check your HP Support Assistant, when I meant to check your HP Printer Assistant. It's in the software that you downloaded to your computer to operate the printer. On my computer it's called: HP DeskJet 2700 Series as shown "highlighted" in the screenshot that I have attached.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't tried printing on photo quality paper with this printer, but with most printers there is an option to change the paper quality. If you have the HP Support Assistant downloaded to your computer, there should be a file you can assess to change the paper options before you attempt to print photos. I'm not happy with this printer because it isn't compatible with my Windows 7 and says that a driver I need isn't available anymore in order for it to work properly all functions plus I'm using the USB Cable instead of the WiFi options. I've found that it has a pitiful scanner software; and it doesn't print screen shots properly, pasted to my WORD or PUBLISHER applications. Prints okay from online but not screen shots, they are cutoff on the right edges even if on the monitor they are perfectly formatted... makes no sense. Also it doesn't print layered items on the page (i.e.; items sent behind or in front aren't printed the way they appear on my monitor; this printer doesn't honor the process which is a pain). Perhaps the driver issue is the problem, I don't know. Your issue should be easy to fix, just go through the software to find "paper quality" and see if it does the job.
