A:Answer Apologies for what you're experiencing. First, reset the printer by turning it off, unplugging it, and waiting one minute or so before plugging back in, and turning it on. Make sure the power cord is plugged into a wall socket, not an extension cord or surge control unit. If that doesn't work, try to put the printer online manually: On your computer, go to printer settings and make sure "use printer offline" is NOT checked. Clear the print queue. Cancel all jobs, if any are displayed. It's possible that a failed print job be creating a "traffic jam".
