Does the printer do scanning? null

Yes. You feed the paper from the front on top. There are paper symbols on the right side of the feeder.

It does single page feed-thru scans but is not a flat bed scanner. If you need to scan books or other materials that cannot be fed thru by single sheets then look elsewhere.
