• It should be. You need wifi and will have to download the HP smart app, and hp smart plug-in

• Hi Sally! Thank you for your interest in HP printers! All HP printers are compatible with Chromebooks and can be set up with either the printer set up that is built into Chrome OS or with the HP Smart app, which is free.
