It will depend on what type of connection is on the speakers that you get. There are speakers that connect via USB, audio cable, or Bluetooth connection on the desktop computer. If you buy the speakers with the USB or audio cable connection, the cable is included with the speakers. The speakers with the audio cable would be connected to the headphone jack. The USB speakers would be connected to one of the USB ports. And the Bluetooth speaker(s) would connect to your Bluetooth connection. You would connect the speakers on the desktop since that is where the sound is coming from. Monitors are generally not made to where you can add speakers.
