The computer has both HDMI and VGA video outputs on it, and your monitor should have one or both of those inputs. If your monitor has an HDMI output, you'll get the best results if you connect the two things with an HDMI cable. If your monitor doesn't, you can either connect them with a VGA cable, or you can get an adapter to take the HDMI cable and connect it to the monitor through the adapter.
